Architect: OPAFORM. Review by Anders Rubing
On a narrow street in the Nordnes neighbourhood in Bergen, OPAFORM have designed a new house and rehabilitated two neighbouring houses. The project discusses how to build new housing that goes hand in hand with the existing small wooden houses that are so characteristic of the area.
In an otherwise successful project, the quality of the new housing project is, as is so often the case, inferior to the qualities that the older, rehabilitated houses represent.
